Our hostel and therefore our guests are obliged to pay vacation tax. Educational conferences may be exempted from this tax by the "Kurverwaltung"

Any cancellations must also be done in writing. There is no charge, provided that the cancellation is made at least ten weeks prior to the previously agreed upon date of arrival. With short notice cancellations, cancellation fees apply, if the rooms cannot be booked out again. CANCELLATION FEES: If the cancellation is made ten to four weeks prior to the date of arrival, the cancellation fee is 50% of the room costs. If the cancellation is less than four weeks before the booked date, the cancellation fee is 90% of the room costs. The room costs are calculated based on the reported number of persons or the minimum group rate, respectively. If cancellations reach KRAFTZWERG e.V. less than 4 days prior to the date of arrival, full board guests will be also billed 90% of the meal costs. The signer of this contract or the institution thereof bears responsibility for all damages, which may be caused by the guest group. The legal rights of the house are not transferred to the group/renter, but remain with KRAFTZWERG e.V. A general cleaning of the rented area before departure is expected of the group. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge, if such a general cleaning is not made.
